CPA Canada Requirements:
1. Pass all 4 CPA exams
2. Two plus years of relevant experience
3. 150 credit hours from an accredited institute under NASBA.
Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA)
From January 1, 2018, MRA has been established between
1. All Canadian CPA bodies
2. International Qualifications Appraisal Board (IQAB), representing AICPA and NASBA.
How to obtain the Canada CPA designation?
1. Confirm that you are a U.S. CPA
2. Listing all relevant experience
3. Submit the documents that are needed
4. Then obtain Canadian CPA credential
CPAs (Certified Public Accountants) who are, or have been Canadian residents have to meet certain additional requirements.
Applicants who wrote one or more than one parts of the Uniform CPA examination with either of the following situations given below have to meet additional requirements:
1. Either a resident of Canada
2. After they became a resident to Canada
3. After they returned as a resident to Canada
